I really liked Pilot Talk 2, but I can't get THAT excited for a Currensy album when we have all his mixtape material year round. I know he's slowed down the past two years, but he'll probably have another mixtape out before this drops.

I owned all his releases up to Stoned Immaculate and sold off everything except the 1st Pilot Talk. It just got to the point where dude was just putting out too much music and it all sounded the damn same.

Crazy how the guy drops an album/mixtape every 4-5 months and I'm still as excited as ever.

hopefully he lets Drive in theatre marinate a bit and hold on to this one until around August.

and to the guys saying his stuff sounds the same, Covert Coup sounds nothing like either of the Pilot Talks, which sound nothing like This aint no mixtape, which sounds nothing like Drive in theatre. You can't possibly be listening if that's your takeaway.

He raps about the same shyt, true, but musically they are nothing alike.

Well don't get me wrong, I think he drops dope music but his content is EXTREMELY limited. He's got his niche and that's cool, but sometimes I'd like to hear him talk about more than smoking good, fukking someone else's woman, and driving dope cars while spending money. But I fukks with Currensy. He's definitely one of the best rappers out.
