It messes with the aircraft radio altimeter.. The altimeter measures the distance from the aircraft the ground so on final approach which starts 20 Nautical miles from the airport usually start from the end of the runway..

So if a pilot trying to land the aircraft will read its 3500 feet off the ground when in reality it’s only 500 feet off the ground so In bad weather condition like heavy fog that can be catastrophic

Sounds like that scene in Die Hard 2 when the terrorists changed the settings for the altimeter.. Causing the plane to crash.

Also All pilots are saying is move the 5g towers at least on a 20 miles radius of the airport and not within a 5 mile radius because at 20 miles and beyond the signals won’t interfere with that critical portion of landing… When you on approach 20 miles out you can reach the runway within 5 mins that’s how fast your going

Classic fear mongering thread

The only debatable point that they're actually fighting over anymore is if 5g equipment should be 1.3 miles or 2 miles from the actual landing/takeoff spots. That's it. The airlines want it to be further.

There's no proof that moving it would do anything, this type stuff is already in 40 other countries and working without issue

Nothing was actually going to happen anyways, some ppl sent a letter to the FAA, all fake bluffing talking about cancelled flights and grounding planes..was never gonna happen to begin with.

Straight fake news articles everywhere about this. Sensationized media
Yeah it’s in Europe and they have it 10 miles or so away from the airport

I’m bad weather with zero visibility you have to rely on your instruments.. Runway will appear on you out of no where but that’s because the localizer locked on to the aircraft 20 miles out and guided the plane in

I remember being on a inbound flight into Orlando in rainy weather.. The runway appeared suddenly and I said to myself that we're still pretty high as we crossed over the airport fence.. I was concerned because we flew a good distance over the runway and still haven't landed yet.. Then suddenly the engines went full throttle and we climbed again.. Pilot came on the intercom and explained he didn't like that approach.. I said to myself I didn't like that shyt neither..

A fleeting childhood
:stopitslime:

Please

Before Covid, I was traveling overseas for the past 15 years and flying their domestic flights to get around the country with no problems.
I used to work in the aircraft repair sector. A lot of companies using equipment to the very last mile whenever they can. Scrap metal that used to be a tire rim and they wondering how much to fix instead of just buying a new one. Now all airlines ain’t like that but there is def a higher quality control and standards with the more expensive airlines

I believe you. Wasn't it a piece of old metal that fell off a plane as it was taking off that was then run over by the high-speed Concorde plane causing a domino effect of things leading to its crash (and the eventual end of Concorde planes flying at all?)

(Actual pic of Concorde taking off on fire)

I watch all those plane crash shows on youtube...Seconds from Disaster, Mayday Air Disaster, etcetera and they are really enlightening...and frightening.

It doesn't matter, the money put in is too great.

"The love of money is the root of all manner of evil"

A lot of tech these people are pushing today is going to be bad for humanity.

5G makes it easier to track people and monitor people (Internet-of-Things). It's going to go through because of the power these people want to have over us. Tracking people at airports is part of that.

This nikka this is like the 5th anti passport anti travel posts you’ve made so far into the New Years. What the fukk is your schtick :dahell:
He's right though.

Companies be knowing when their products have hazards... yount hink peloton didn't know their bikes weren't fukking up during their tests before they released them?

If they know an engine in a jet has a 10% of failure they'll do calculations to see if it would be worth to fix those engines or to do a payout in case of an accident.
