What We Know About Mail Bomb Suspect Cesar Sayoc Jr.
Cesar Sayoc Jr. was taken into custody Friday under suspicion of being the perpetrator for the mail bomb attacks which have kept America on edge for the last few days.
Sayoc is a 56-year-old registered Republican from Miami-Dade County. Multiple reports indicate that Sayoc is originally from New York before moving to Aventura, FL. Early reportson court records show that Sayoc has a criminal background that includes felony theft, drug and fraud charges, probation violations and accusations of threatening to use a bomb.
Law enforcement officials arrested Sayoc at an auto repair shop in Plantation, FL after he was connected to DNA evidence collected from the bombs sent to media officials and high-profile critics of Donald Trump. Authorities seized a white van today as evidence for their investigation on Sayoc, and pictures from the scene show the vehicle is covered in pro-Trump paraphernalia.
The Justice Department has announced that they will hold a press conference later in the day, which may provide more details.

Regardless of what his background is, he fits the typical profile of a Trump rally attendee. He probably been crazy his whole life, no doubt, but has been emboldened by conspiracies like caravans taking over rental properties in Minnesota and left wing mobs running around wild in the streets being accepted as sensible talking points in the media.
