The Trey Burke stuff is an old bit, he's been average at best for a starting PG, he's not good, MCW would have been the waaay better option, but again KCP gets NO run, that's coaching cause he would flourish if this team would run and had a PG that would get him some shots.

Carter-Williams is playing good ball but he can't shoot and you kinda have to playing with 3 bigs in the starting lineup don't cha know? He's also a turnover machine, Burke is a better point guard and better fit with this particular roster

He's down to 12 mins per game, and has a PG that's a notorious chucker. Jennings is not only killing any potential on this team for KCP but he's doing it with everyone else.

I don't know how Dumars manages to fukk up having a Drummond/Monroe front line but he has. Dude should of surrounded those two with a PG that can facilitate and not shoot them out of games, then have some shooters on the wings.

Seems so simple doesn't it. Joe was trying to re-create that 04 team but he didn't take a couple things into consideration:

1. That was a lightning in a bottle one time only thing
2. He had a strong foundation with the bigs to build a more traditional squad
3. Cheeks wasn't the guy

The problem is MCW's shooting percentage is better than Trey's, the other problem with your argument is both Trey and MCW have the same assist to turnover ratio essentially. Again, people got blinded by his December numbers, and are still living off that, he declined considerably since then, there is tape on him now, he doesn't do anything above average or average in my opinion, at least KCP is an above average defender.

Singler is the better shooter, and that's what the Pistons need, but if Detroit gets rid of Monroe and run an uptempo offense, KCP would find better success
