Roster also had 31 dudes suit up at some point and out of the 31, only 6 are still on the team. 10 of them nikkas not even in the league anymore. Adding vets did wonders for this squad plus Cade making the leap

The roster was terrible.... And so was Monty. I know y'all non Piston fans weren't watching a bunch of games of a 14 win team, so trust us on this one. Monty was just as bad a coach coach as the roster was.

That maybe true and all but I fail to see how a mf who had just won COTY suddenly forgot how to coach the next season. shyt roster construction because this seasons (early as it may be) is light years better than last

Did you also watch this roster not being anywhere close to as talented last season starting with their best player missing 60+ games and 3 of their top 5 scorers not being apart of that franchise last year

Jaden should have played over Hayes at the top of the year but it’s not like he was a winning player himself last season ….he was terrible shooting the ball amongst several other issues as most 2nd year guys are ….however he DID start 61out of his 77 games played …..playing him a few more minutes definitely wasn’t why they lost 68 games.. like that’s just crazy to believe….
To put the roster differences in context ….the nikka that you’re insinuating Monte lost all his games over by not playing has missed the last 5 games since getting hurt and the Pistons are STILL 4-1 ….that should tell you how deeper and talented this roster is vs last year ….and Ivey is a much better player this year than last so you would think his absence would hurt even more but they’ve kept chugging along no problem …I’ll let you figure out why that is
