No way I would trade Monroe if I were the Pistons but Chicago needs a power forward and they need a small forward. I would take him in Chicago for Deng (along with any spare parts to make the contract work) but I know teams rarely trade within the same division.

I like Monroe but i dont think he'll be there when they turn the corner and start winning.
Hes one of those bigs like Al Jefferson, scores alot can be dominant in the post but gives up alot on the end...I seen rookie bigs last year tear him up on defense, wasnt a good look.

I gotta admit Monroe killed us last year when the Heat played the Pistons. I see big things in that kid's future.

I wanna say dude was averaging 25 pts and 15 rebs on us (like most bigs had big games vs the Heat) but it was the way he did it that hurt my feelings.
We'll take him if ya'll dont want him

I would never break up Drummond and Monroe if I was them

They would be fools IMO

So you'd take Smith over Monroe? :mjpls:

:dead:

lol hell naw nikka

im sayin tho...the pistons prolly gone be garbage record wise this year, monroe was already gettin impatient last year...i could tell in his interviews

he starting to turn into one of dem euro nikkas takin jumshots, josh smith take shots too but still do a lil bit of everything plus we just signed him to a big contract

drummond on the other hand is the star on this team imo
we need to force feed him the ball.... all year...every game...win or lose

i gotta feeling monroe being the borderline allstar he is, is gonna take away touches from drummond. i rather trade him, get value via draft or a wing who can handle the ball

If I were a Pistons fan I wouldn't want that trade either but if they are eventually gonna give a future 20/10 player away then send his ass to Chicago.

Aint too many big men left that can score in the post you got one in Monroe and hopefully Drummond can develop into that. It easier to find find guards that can score

Monroe is 3 inches taller, has a more defined position as a 4, is 4.5 years younger, and has higher offensive upside that'll only get better under the right coachin' staff. I really can't think of a frontline that has a higher upside in the NBA right now...
