Big Ben was playing like a superstar though. He totally changed games defensively.LOVED those 2000's Pistons teams, fukk the haters I genuinely dug seeing how they would try and win games without a real superstar.

and vice versaI'm from the wind.
People from the Chi don't cheer for the Pistons

A year later they lost to a Spurs team that is rather similar to the one that's in the finals right now. That's insane...
Really makes me wonder what may have happened if the Pistons had drafted Melo, signed their vets to smarter deals, etc. Billups can still play at a good level today IMO, Prince is still serviceable, etc - if they were on a team with dept that allowed them to rest like Pop does with his older stars, would they still be good today?
)Duncan Parker and Gino know their role, play their position and respect their coach. Imagine POP getting in Bens ass...not happening. When Sheed came and started calling out bs ref calls so did rip and tay...Pistons were getting entitled. Spurs are a once in a generation team in their sport. Great system. I have my doubts Melo and him would have worked. Would have taken many years for a relationship to develop like AI...I'll take a guaranteed 04 Title over drafting Melo dealing with Chemistry issues and doing what they were doing anyway (5 additional ECF's)
Rip in game 6 on the road against NJN :wows:
One white boy in each series getting in our ass for one game (Croshere, Scalabrine, Medvadenko)
Game 2 against Indy :wows:
That INDY NJN LAL run yall :wows:

He actually played well for Utah, and made an All Star team. The achilles injury was the death of his career.Went to Utah for the money and didn't live up to the coins
