Ive had a pit,but I wouldn't raise a pit around my kids...Animals,not just pits can attack at any time...but I think you gotta gauge the fact a pitbull can take ya kid down and kill them and weigh the risk....Im confident I could defend myself but I don't think I could let no pit be a family dog and be alone wit my kids just becuz I gotta think of the worst case scenario. most people who own them that I know want them to be aggressive and guard dogs,i don't see a problem with raising them that way. But if people not gon go all out to keep they dogs from hurting people they should pay a higher price than just having they dog killed. Pitbulls shouldn't be wiped out for being effective though...same way you don't get rid of guns.

Pitbulls aint exactly the same as owning a tiger or a lion where EVERY HUMAN is pretty defensless.....now a pack of pitbulls? just like a stockpile of weapons maybe there should be a law against that or more regulations and rules you have to abide by...this owner was obviously trying to protect the illegl shyt he had goin on inside the house and raised them to be how they were.
