Pitbulls, terriers etc dont actually make good guard dogs because they were bred to fight and kill other dogs. You cant walk into someones yard and actually steal their pitbull. Useless dogs.

I think people come down so hard on pits not so much for their temperment and how often they attack but moreso the damage they do when they attack. Its as simple as this...pits arent the meanest dogs, but are by far the most dangerous when in attack mode. A pit thats improperly raised is a loose cannon...and there are too many people out there having them that shouldnt in the first place. That kinda adds fuel to the fire.

Notice how they only say "dog"...

And I can pull up numerous articles where someone is attacked by a dog (not a pit) but you wouldn't know about it, because there's a agenda against pits. Just like rotties and dobermanns before them.

Noone saying that, breh. BUt Pit Bull have the reputation as dangerous dogs and the mofos that breed them to be vicious arent helping the cause.

I had never seen or heard of a Pit Bull until i moved to America and used to wonder why they were banned in Miami (well all of Dade county, period). Then i moved to GA started seeing these clown walking them dogs and intimidating people with them.
