I honestly don't believe Pitbulls are bad. Those that attack were likely in bad environments

true but every breed has characteristics influenced by decades of breeding
a pit bull or bull mastiff are going be way more territorial and aggressive if a random 5 yr old stumbles into their backyard vs maybe how a golden retriever would react
a mini schnauzer has a high prey drive and will be way more dangerous alone around a neighbors cat then say a pomeranian
if you own certain breeds you need to be more careful securing shyt cause dogs love their owners but certain characteristics can still make them dangerous to strangers, even if they socialized, in certain situations
