Let's run it down though:
Y'all can't deny that Pitbull is relevant. Every song he makes runs up the charts and white people love him. So him and Wayne share some of the same fanbase.
Also, Pitbull came and called Wayne out directly. No subs or sideways shyt. He made sure to know it was Wayne.
And regardless of what you think about the beat or disses, people will hear this. Pitbull on that pop shyt now, but he is still a real dude from Miami. Them Cubans don't play down there.
So Wayne shouldn't brush this off. This is still an artist that gets hella radio play and folks know his music. If Nelly didn't brush off KRS-One, Wayne shouldn't brush off Pitbull.
1) Pitbull is hardly relevant in comparison to Wayne. Yes, he has some hit songs under his belt, but his albums hardly do anything. Even then, he has singles that weren't hits.
2) Pit and Wayne really don't share fanbases like that. People buy Pit's singles, people buy Wayne's albums. Big difference.
3) Pit's fans aren't the kind of fans who will salivate over two artists going at each other lyrically.
4) This is hardly comparable to the Nelly/KRS beef. Nelly wasn't only big in the Pop world, dude could do a song w/ Backstreet and N'sync and then jump on a song w/ State Property. Pitbull is only huge on a Pop singles chart.

they really taking him dissing a sports franchise to heart huh?
