Ive always been disappointed with Carter 3. Carter 2 is one of my favorite albums and has aged beautifully, I always thought 3 was kinda overrated and knew it wouldn't age well.
Late comers thought it was a classic caught up in the Wayne hype. Everyone else shouldve known it was never better than Carter 2. And Da Block Is Hot did age well btw. It was a moment in time,but still better than C3
Music is subjective though.
I think 50’s overall catalog is super trash and is overrated. All those cheesy pop singles and he has zero bars or songs where he just straight snapping.
But maybe everyone doesn’t feel the way
