Last MLB The show I copped was MLB The Show 10.

Won't cop another until MLB 13/14 drops on PS4

Never understood why cats bought sports games yearly

:manny:
Because they update the rosters and gameplay every year...

Why wouldn't you? Some people think game don't change because the graphics usually look the same but there are a lot of small things that change the entire experience ever year.

Can't wait.

I'll probably cop it next week. Saying goodbye to my free time for awhile.

I'm thinking we need a solid 16 teams to make this League Interesting. I will be a first timer as well when it comes to online league so excuse my ignorance on the subject. I know @GetYaWeigtUp is an experienced vet so I would appreciate your input on how to make this league successful :salute:
Well First.... 16 sounds like a great number. I'd maybe consider 12 until you know for sure you can find 16 quality owners. We all know people drop from time to time for many of reasons. If you got 12 or 16, everyone gets a fairly good team as well.

Set the schedule for 35 games... That is what my other league uses and it works great. Not too many games, and not to few.

Set the league up on Hall of Fame. Its tough but not too hard. You can still have good power numbers. Last year we had to increase the sliders to improve the power but it worked like a charm. Some games were 3-2, some were 10-7.

I would consider using GroupMe and setting up a chat also. My NBA2k league uses it for quick communication, and my other MLB leagues AOL Instant Messenger. Both work great for quick group chatting to set up games. I'd use the boards to set up rules/discussion and keep people informed about stuff.

The game drops tonite, the league setup usually takes like 2 weeks for some reason. They don't let anyone set up an online league for like 14 days. Why? I do not know but that is the way it's been for the last 2 years at least.

Get some good owners, set up an easy way to communicate, and let it rip.... Forum works good but GroupMe and AIM are even better. Just my opinion though...

In terms of rules... There really aren't any really have to worry about. You just ask guy to pitch realistic and not like a D1CK. A lot of people love to throw in the dirt all day or high ass fastballs that you can't hit. Pitches are hard to track so these methods are deemed cheap.

Pitching rotations need to be set up. Good thing about The Show is that fatigue plays a role in the game so you can't pitch your ace every game. You need to post your rotation and stick to it. Set a number of starts for your starters and don't let anyone go over. With fatigue they shouldn't anyway... Pitch a tired guy and he'll get rocked.

Any other questions just let me know...

If they finally improved the trade logic in Franchise mode :ohlawd:
Hopefully I won't see teams trade their young stars for no reasons :mindblown:
