Like I said before. Kendrick had a huge boost he just performed the Super Bowl. Drake has less songs than plenty of artists please don’t act like Future is just some small nobody artist. And regardless. With the Mega hit. The Grammy promotion. And the SuperBowl promotion. He still hasn’t outstreamed Drake. Cut the shyt out. U can’t have it both ways. U can’t speak on Kendrick’s disadvantages and then try to dismiss his advantages. This isn’t normal operation for Kendrick, this is normal operation for Drake. I honestly hate speaking on this numbers shyt anyway cause all this shyt cooked and don’t got shyt to do with nothing. And all I been seeing for the last year is number numbers numbers from Kendrick fans cause it suddenly serves them when it was in reverse it didn’t stop no one from calling Kendrick the best. Let’s see what if Kendrick keeps this up for the foreseeable future before we start writing people off. Kendrick CLEARLY had a better year than Drake.
I remember kworb released the list of songs available for each artist few months ago, and Drake was at the top, with almost 200 more songs than most artists.
You're missing the point...you're misinterpreting numbers and acting like chartadata and billboard aren't doing their job well...

What do you think will give you more sales, a 4 song EP available for streaming only, or a 20 song album? yup you have your answer, this is the same shyt for total streams/year :pachaha:

Kendrick has been way more impressive streaming wise than Drake.

And please let's stop talking about superbowl and grammy. This is not the first time Kendrick outperforms Drake.
Billboard literally admitted damn was way bigger than any Drake album, charts wise.

Ya'll just been reading numbers wrong or don't know how to interpret them. This is not as simple as selling CD's lol. Once you reach a certain level of popularity, the number of songs you have in your catalog matters a lot, which is why billboard is now working on changing their rules.

The fact Kendrick had the best streamed songs (multiple), albums, and co, but was outstreamed by a bit kinda proves they're right saying it all depends on the size of your catalog.

It's like comparing a brand new Eminem album moving 1 million and 5 new Jay albums selling 250k each

Billboard has changed the rules plenty times. Which is why I honestly don’t give a fukk about neither one of these industry boosted ass nikkas. Yall do. Yall the ones who keep bringing it up. Until it doesn’t fit yall narrative. Don’t tell me not to bring up the Super Bowl. Are u smoking? That literally is the biggest promotion right there. Legacy artists see sales boosts after that shyt. No one is saying Kendrick isn’t a big artist. But this isn’t standard operation for Kendrick and to act like it is is insane. Kendrick has never been a bigger artist than Drake. Regardless of DAMN streams. U DO realize having more music limits individual album streams as well. Cause the streams are more spread out. Which is why DAMN is the highest streaming album between the two. Drake simply has more albums and music to stream. It’s the same shyt I used to say when it comes to Pac and Biggie. Biggie’s sales were way more concentrated toward specific albums cause he has less music.

That's wrong too. Only kendrick experienced such a boost.

Usher is the one who experienced the biggest boost after Kendrick, only gained a few % in streams, and saw one of his songs re-entry the billboard hot 100 at #20 with Yeah

Billboard addressed it too, you're right, but only for artists with very small catalogs.

Let's not forget another major factor, drake has way more featurings, and people listening to the original artist songs are boosting the featured artist streams as well.

Kendrick has WAY less music than Drake. It’s a big difference. When it comes to those 2 specific artists. U literally just said it earlier.

But tbh @spliz, I don't think people are saying Drake music will not be consumed no more, people are saying he ain't pulling the same numbers he used to do.

50 is still one of the most streamed artists, but if he was to drop a new album tomorrow, shyt wouldn't sell more than Snoop & Dre project.

I mean like I said it doesn’t matter to me. All I’m saying is we gotta wait and see. Cause his recent collab album is selling pretty well it’s already Gold. It seems like it has legs and is still streaming good from week to week. Either way if Roc Marci or Spitta or somebody like that drops an album tomorrow I could give a fukk less about what either of these nikkas doing. Like right now. I’m tuning in to Spitta new shyt wit Harry Fraud.

I don't care either, although I'll admit I like to troll a bit with that crap. At the end of the day, the big 3 been in the game for 15 years or so and thats a big achievement :manny:

They all had a longer run than a lot of mainstream stars before them
