Played a xb1 for 2 days....here's my mini review.

-The kinect features are pretty dope! Turning it on and switching apps is a breeze with voice commands.

-The snapping feature has a lot of potential, it's very seamless and useful.

-The TV features are arguably GOAT and then only thing that's stop it from being so is you cannot access the DVR features from your cable box to record and such. Not that I watch tv all that much anyway...



But other than that not sure what to think about it. It's really ugly and big and the controller is not as good as people made it out to be, the shoulder buttons are border line garbage and the dpad still needs work...dual shock 4 is a good example of a leap forward. Ryse looks great but is not fun at all and Forza 5 is ....Forza. It could have been done last gen. Have not had the chance to play KI but so far this next gen experience has been underwhelming compared to the previous jumps.

Honestly I'm disappointed in the leap from last gen to this one. The Xbox One is nice and like OP said all the features are great, but the graphics and gameplay feel like last gen with better polish. Idk about ps4 yet, but can't be much of a difference either

Best looking next gen games are Ryse, Forza, Killer Instinct, Killzone, and NBA 2k15

I agree with op. Not a huge leap graphically aside from ryse but the features are . I have faith that the graphics will improve with time. Haven't really played it a whole lot yet bc of work

Ryse definitely, but Forza looks like an average current gen racing..fun though but I wish they spent more time on the visuals. 2k14 and resogun are arguably the best overall games

I know you won't take my opinion seriously but the 360 controller is better imo. The shoulder buttons aren't that good and I don't like the way the triggers are, plus the size of the controller is smaller. it's not bad at all but compared to the 360 it's not really that much of an improvement. I feel like the 360/DS4 controllers are the best out now.

Xbox 360 controller is better ...sorry to say. It has some pros tho but the shoulder buttons and small analog sticks kinda kill it for me. I could just be nitpicking but I have a feeling a lot of ppl feel the same

I will say this though...the kinect is so much better than the last one, I can see myself actually using it for simple task but I will still pass on the kinect games, I have no desire to stand up to play any type of game outside of an arcade.

Each of the games has something that makes them next gen. Some are the graphics, some are gameplay. The only game to have both is Forza.

I really don't get the hate for the games. I'm having the most fun I've had in years.

Yeah, i think you need to play it again. Game is one of the most beautiful ever created. LMAO at thinking that could be done on current gen. But hey, whatever floats your boat friend...
