Sidenote: Icemane Gervin played with Michael Jordan in 85.

Gerv look like he can still hoop :mjlol:
It was hilarious to watch George Gervin cheering MJ from the end of the Bulls bench while he was dropping 63pts on the Celtics.
The Bulls used to be one of those bad teams where former stars went to collect their final NBA paychecks (also players with substance abuse problems, rejects, etc).
MJ's arrival changed all that though:mjgrin:

Yo, is it me or does it seem weird that it's cats in the league that came after Bron or with him. Yet, it feels like they way older than bron and they either retiring or out of the league. Mo williams, Kendrick Perkins. Yo, David west came in the same year as bron. yet, it feels like West is pushing 40. Steve blake too

Just found this on Gervin and Jordan

Gervin`s arrival in Chicago could create some problems between himself and Bulls` superstar Michael Jordan.

``I have no comment on the trade,`` Jordan said in an uncharacteristic brushoff. ``Just say I am unhappy.``

Jordan`s and Gervin`s problems stem from last year`s National Basketball Association All-Star Game in Indianapolis, when Gervin allegedly took part in a scheme to make Jordan look bad in front of 43,000 fans in the Hoosierdome and a national television audience.

There were reports that several members of the Eastern Conference All-Star team plotted to keep Jordan--an All-Star starter--out of the offense to teach the rookie a lesson in humility. In addition, Jordan`s teammates reportedly plotted to leave him alone when he guarded Gervin, refusing to help out on defense.

Memphis Grizzlies/Auburn Tigers
Yeah Vince is still crazy athletic for his age, he's a solid role player for the Grizzlies but every now and then he does something that reminds you why people called him Vinsanity. Like he'll finish a reverse alley oop and you'll be like "oh yeah that's Vince Carter"
