I say fukk'em don't give them nothing they will just use the new " what i got from his body language was"...And now they trying to read lips to write stories ....remember when Lebron and Wade covered their mouths on the side lines while talking :russ:

The media gonna write what they gonna write and will bash you then be in your face asking you questions so they can become the next :skip:........so in my eyes :camby:

I agree with the thread theme but the reality of the situation is that the league/s are now a media machine driven based on good public relations that help to bring in ad revenue. Unfortunately even if athletes don't want to, they have to play the game before and after the game and placate the system. Put your phoney face on and give them some game tidbits to feed on.

Also, they shouldn't sleep on those lucrative sponsorship checks that supplement their income.

:skip:Reporter: So Keys...they were able to limit dribble penetration down the stretch. Did that disrupt your ability to get in rhythm and get quality shots??

:aicmon: Me: That's a good question.

:skip: Reporter: The turnover battle was a critical component that had an effect on the outcome of the game. Is ball security an important part of your preparation???

:rudy:Me: That's a good question.

10 seconds of awkward silence

:skip: Reporter: How's your toe feeling?

:stopitslime: Me: that's a good question.

See the problem with that is when you do that they not happy with that and they looking for a "quote" or some type of issue to bash you with and they want to overblow it and make you look bad. I would just keep my mouth closed as much as possible How many times you heard the "players need to just focus on the game" but the media seems to want to talk about everything BUT the game and your like :dwillhuh: after they get done with the bullshyt they write. ......so fukk'em:blessed:

leagues give the media exposure to the players, both in the locker room and with after game press conferences. bottom line, its show business, so the players should spin it as positively to their advantage as possible. if not they subject themselves and their teams to funny calls in big games. the media machine is a monster.

So its not childish when they write bullshyt slandering your name then in the next breath run up to you with a mike trying to get more stuff out of you:scust:
If someone else acts like a child towards you, you then turn around and act like a child too?

that doesnt make sense. be your own person, dont let others get to you like that
