Is it a general business degree or a specific one like accounting, finance, etc?

What kind of jobs are available to general business majors?

I looked and never seen anything really hiring exactly for business, so I didn't know what to do if I majored in it.

If you not built for the stem grind then don't do it to youself breh

I doing business and I still have the same salary outlook but no stem :blessed:

Don't let people get in your head cause stem isn't for everybody

Appreciate it, I am already accepted into Georgia state university as a student and was planning on attending there and wasn’t even thinking about hooping. I want to study civil engineering regardless if I hoop in college or not.

Wasn’t even thinking about hooping in college until I had a good year and my school too, my mom and dad have been echoing the same stuff that all you guys are to me.

G State is D1 and they played in the tournament the past season. Won't even sugarcoat it for you, it's hard to catch on with bball at most schools in Georgia, by so many top notch athletes that have been coached up on through the aau ranks and high school.

I was going to recommend Kennesaw State but even they recruit nationally. Find a spot where they will play you and allow you a chance to get strong minutes. Take advantage of those tutors and learn from them if available.

Try to focus on defense and work on that more than your offense. Defense and ball handling is the key to breaking through imo.

I’m 6 foot 3 with a 6 foot 5 wing span. My problem is that I’m not the greatest shooter and didn’t play basketball a year since I got kicked off the team. But I’m good now and yeah I know education comes first, thanks for the advice.

Hold onto your eligibility..its precious..don't rush into a situation because you tired of sitting out..if you REALLY wanna go D1 from Juco it's Cali, Texas or the Midwest...

If you’re just thinking about it cause you had a good year you should probably just go to gsu and concentrate on school. Time constraints are a lot to deal with if you don’t have to because of a scholarship.

You can play intramural in school if you just wanna play.

To keep it a buck with you unless you got pro aspirations in either the A or Europe/China you should go to the school with the best program you want to study. If the dii offers a better program in the major you want to study go there. If you wanna go pro tho go di and ball out.

You could try your luck with smaller D1 schools. But even then most rarely even pick walk-ons unless you really stand out or go through the manager phase. If you are really bout it and know you are talented enough to play I would go JUCO and focus all my energy on ball and garner attention that way. Eventually you’ll have to make a decision. If basketball is what you want to pursue though you’ll have to go 1000%. I learned that and said fukk it, I wasn’t going to the league and would probably end up playing overseas or training. Not really worth it :yeshrug:

Defense and handling the basketball are my strong points, I can’t shoot 3’s and long twos for shyt because I was overweight and have lost a lot of weight and had to change my form. I can get to the rim with ease. I averaged 19 points and 8 assists a game for a school that finished top 8 in the state which is why I feel I might be able to play d1 this year, I am trying to figure out if I should try to walk on or just accept one of the dii and juco offers I have is my dilemma

The thing is I do have pro aspirations, I am not really passionate about any college programs
