:ahh: that middle/high school life in the mid 2000s wasn't complete without going to the mall after school and wasting some hours playing gamestop demos.

Playing that nba ballers with chauncey billups on the cover :ohlawd:

Fight night :ohlawd:

Any time there was an nba game youd have to wait in line and shyt

Gamestop? What about software etc before the internet took over? The ps and dreamcast demos. Those store shelves used to have the strategy guides and etc back when the whole entire game was on the disc or cartridge 20 odd years ago. I got some of them still floating around like mk trilogy, tekken 3, virtual fighter 3... :laff: think I still have the mk2 one floating around. Its not the same anymore. Used to love going into software etc and even toys r us was the shyt back then. They all shytted on gamestop. Only spot worse than gamestop was funcoland.

There was a hair shop my mom used to go to that was next to a GameStop. I used to go in there while she was next door and play games until she got done.

My most vivid memory is playing Viewtiful Joe for the first time and telling the cashier I need to cop this shyt today. I said I wanted a new copy because I didn’t want some scratched up shyt. And then this dude took the disc out from a GameCube behind the register, put it in an opened case and said “You’re in luck! This is the last new copy.” :stopitslime:
