My lady and I have known each other for 17 years, and been together for 12. We JUST got engaged last year, and probably aren't getting married any time soon. We used the cash we would've used for the wedding as a down payment on a home instead, and I refuse to eat a bunch of unnecessary debt for a wedding. It wasn't that difficult to pull off once I realized that shyt wasn't that complicated, and expressed to her that wedding ring or not, staying together and faithful is still the same conscious choice.
