SFIII is my favourite of all the SF that capcom put out. Back in high school there was a short that had a cabinet with SFIII New Generation, the prequel to 3rd Strike. The parry was very unrefined on it but man I was in that shop EVERYDAY after school battling against friends and other folks in the neighborhood. It would be packed full in that mofo smelling like teenage armpit but the memories











...but if we're gonna talk "underrated", then to me the truly underrated fighting game that is top 5 of all time has to be

if they rebalanced it it might be the undisputed goat fighting game. the planned 4th version got cancelled, that and the original cancelled garou motw 2 will be on my mind forever

capcom is too scared to rebalance it now cause people hated the sf2 turbo remake, so high level play will always be boring chun chun yun yun ken unfortunately. still my favorite fighting game tho

Arguably number 1 to me. However 2002/2002um are being played more at this point. Personally i like 2k2 a bit more.
