Why hasn't any other great player dominated The East, then? In the last 20 years, the following guys played all or most of their primes in the East:

Pierce, Allen, Melo, Iverson, Wade, PG, Mac, Dwight, Butler, Rose...

These are all guys who at some point were considered Top 10 active players or right now are debatably Top 50 All-Timers...

So why couldn't any of these guys do it if it's that easy?

Stop, the Bulls were seen as favorites to win it all in '11, don't minimize and get revisionist on how people viewed Rose and that squad...

The Celtics were threats every year until Bron deaded them twice, we're gonna talk about them being "old" but a)if the Celtics won those last two series over Bron we wouldn't say that, and b)Bron is "old" now and none of you guys give him the "old" pass...

The Pacers were title contenders, led by Next Big Thing (George) and the best D in The League at the time...

Ended the Pistons run, you can call em what you want but they were 2x Finalists and were in the ECF six years in a row, that team is underrated to this day and was every bit a mini-dynasty...

These were all squads that had multi-year runs and were champions and/or championship contenders in real time, but no thoughts on that? Hahahaha...
:unimpressed:

Heat were easily the favorites in 11. And those celtics squads were definetly old by the time bron joined Miami. Yall dont have to boost up his opponents to prop up his resume.

People need to quit bringing up the 07 pistons as a championship squad. Ben Wallace left as a free agent and all we had was the empty shells of chris webber and antonio mcdyess guarding the rim. If big ben was still on that team game 5 doesnt happen and we win the series in 6

Na man.... no one trynna hear that.....

So this is your response. You simply don't wanna hear it.

Anyone with half a brain knows that if you play better competition in rounds 1-3 it will take more out of you when you reach the finals than the team that coasted in rounds 1-3. The Western Conference has been consistently stronger 1-8 than the East for the last 20 years. That has made it tougher for teams to advance through the West than the East. Nobody is saying LeBron's 3 titles aren't impressive. We just don't wanna hear about how him dominating the east somehow makes him better than guys who won more titles. Keep your praise at 3 chips and we're cool. But when you start trying to hype up his legacy based on dominating the East that is when we're gonna have to respond like this.

I gave you my full response:dwillhuh:

No one isn’t saying the bolded, but again y’all act like ALL Brons teams been the equivalent of the KD “GS” teams.

Brons teams haven’t even been the best team in the East a few of the times they made it to the Finals. His last year in the East he was a 4th seed

But fair enough.... no one wanna hear about how great the West champs been since they facing East teams that “anyone can beat” since it’s so easy then:hubie:

We gonna have to “nerf” all this shyt:manny:

2011 NBA Playoffs - Conference Finals - Heat vs. Bulls - ESPN

Only 3 of the 16 ESPN experts picked the Bulls to win the series.

Wanna bet? Las Vegas likes Heat to reach Finals

The No. 2 seed Heat, who just finished a 4-1 series over the defending Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics, are favored, almost 2-to-1, to beat the No. 1 Bulls in the best-of-seven series that starts at 7 p.m. CT Sunday at United Center.

Is it playoff mode activated season yet? :mjlol:

Bron definitely one of the top playoff performers ever but this whole “Playoff Bron” thing is way overblown.
His stans definitely overrate it especially at this age. Using Playoff Mode to excuse performances against elite teams in regular season is stupid to do. Do I think he doesn't go as hard? Sure. But I also think he definitely wants to beat those elite teams and just wasn't able to do so.

He is giving a lot more effort this year than I have seen him give past few seasons, he is trying and I believe going all the way in.

Lakers
Brons time in the East he saw;

Championship Detroit team
The Boston Big 3
Prime and MVP D Rose
Miami Heat was that was competitive
Prime PG with a competitive Pacers
Toronto which as we see was always a top team that just couldn’t get past Bron
Then later on Bucks with Gannis

We don’t need to go out our way to knock Bron anymore..... that shyt ended or should’ve ended Jan. 26, 2020
That Detroit team he beat wasn’t the same as the team that won and went to the finals. Flip Saunders was a downgrade compared to Larry Brown and Ben Wallace had left.

The Boston Big 3 and Chicago wins are legit. Even though he went to Miami when he beat those teams all players need good players around them and Miami wasn’t that deep anyways.

He never faced Miami in the playoffs. Paul George wasn’t in his prime when Indiana was good and lost in Miami. When he did reach his prime and lost to Lebron and the Cavs that Pacers team was mostly garbage.

This Toronto team isn’t the same that played against Lebron and the Cavs. They have a way better coach and Siakam alongside Lowry instead of Derozan. And he never faced the Bucks with Giannis in the playoffs.

We don’t need to go out our way to discredit Lebron’s legacy but we also don’t need to be disingenuous and try to revise history and use Kobe’s death as a shield.

Making the finals is that many years consecutively is impressive on its own especially since he had to deal with injuries to his number 2’s like Wade and Kyrie. And also Wade falling the fukk off near the end of that Miami run.

Just because you aren't the #1 seed doesn't mean you aren't the favorite. Nobody was picking a Celtics team led by a rookie Jayson Tatum to beat a LeBron James led team. Don't try to make Bron beating up on weak competition seem impressive simply cause he decided to coast during the regular season and finish with the 4th seed.
