we talking about playoffs here. I seen your list of the best players u seen play and lebron better then everyone on that list but MAYBE Jordan

You can believe what you want. All I know is NBA players agree with me more than they do you.

Almost every NBA player who has competed against Kobe and LeBron says Kobe was better.

Nobody goes out of their way to downplay Magic though
I mostly agree (FTR I believe LeBron > Magic but I think if Magic had a losing record it would be mentioned way more) and I'm always going to mention that against Magic when people bring it up, someone had to represent the West back then, I just think the 9 finals argument is missing the larger point that someone had to represent the East even when it's been at it's weakest (at least relative to the West)

He had D-Wade and Bosh. 2 other top 10 players in their athletic prime.

I don't really give LeBron much credit for winning with those stacked Heat teams against teams with far less talent.
d-wade was not in his athletic prime :mjlol:

he was in his 30s and on the decline during bron's reign

the only year where he was anything close to prime wade was 2011, when he was 29-30 and refused to let bron be the number 1 option...we know how that turned out

It's always weird how people only give props and credit to Bron and him alone for making these finals. :jbhmm: His teammates, his coaches, nor his opponents that he actually plays (and LOSES to twice as often as he wins) in those finals never receive a lick of recognition whatsoever themselves. LeBron is the only person to ever reach and win a finals the way you people erroneously talk about him. :mjlol::scust:

And that's not even bringing conference talk into it. Where's the credit for Tim Duncan reaching 6 finals and winning 5 of them (twice at Bron's expense in definitive fashion)? Where's Kobe's credit for reaching 7 finals and winning 5 (beating multiple teams there that LeBron couldn't)? Shaq for reaching 5 and winning 4? All in historically stacked western conferences??? All those should be just as if not more impressive than reaching 9... and winning only 3 in the end. :manny: In a historically inept eastern conference to boot. Especially when the second he did came over West like some of these other legends have been all their careers, he couldn't even make the 9th seed...:francis:

I'm not on that tearing other players down wave any more after we lost Kobe... but y'all still always indirectly or directly do it any time Bron's name come out ya mouths. You talk about all these finals he's made and how he doesn't get enough respect for such an accomplishment like no one else has ever done it... when YOU don't give any respect for any of the other guys that are right there on the court with him in those series... the future HoF guys he's playing with, nor the guys he's playing against. The ones that also worked hard to get there time and time again themselves, from a tougher conference... and again, that still go on to beat him twice as often as he beats them in those finals. Those guys all deserve just as much respect and recognition themselves.
Probably because when LeBron leaves those teams they completely go into the tank, and they are garbage before he gets there. That's why be is the main 1 getting the credit dumb ass hater.

This bullshyt got 11 daps :dead:

More below so you stay mad p*ssy :umad:

That Detroit team he beat wasn’t the same as the team that won and went to the finals. Flip Saunders was a downgrade compared to Larry Brown and Ben Wallace had left.

The Boston Big 3 and Chicago wins are legit. Even though he went to Miami when he beat those teams all players need good players around them and Miami wasn’t that deep anyways.

He never faced Miami in the playoffs. Paul George wasn’t in his prime when Indiana was good and lost in Miami. When he did reach his prime and lost to Lebron and the Cavs that Pacers team was mostly garbage.

This Toronto team isn’t the same that played against Lebron and the Cavs. They have a way better coach and Siakam alongside Lowry instead of Derozan. And he never faced the Bucks with Giannis in the playoffs.

We don’t need to go out our way to discredit Lebron’s legacy but we also don’t need to be disingenuous and try to revise history and use Kobe’s death as a shield.

Making the finals is that many years consecutively is impressive on its own especially since he had to deal with injuries to his number 2’s like Wade and Kyrie. And also Wade falling the fukk off near the end of that Miami run.

2010 Celtics def rating: 103.2
2016 warriors def rating: 102.8

also 9-24 is not detrimental to the team like 6-24

Get that cac analytics shyt outta here. Nobody who kniws ball is taking that p*ssy Warriors team over those grimy Celtics squads defensively.

From 2015 on the NBA became a joke defensively. Its how records we never thoughy would be broken like averaging a triple double were being broken left and right.

During those 4 straight finals Wade was 29-32 years old. If that's old and over the hill then Kobe must be God for leading his team to 3 straight finals and 2 rings at age 29-31.

Give Kobe a player of Wade's caliber in addition to Bosh (who was the equivalent of Gasol) and he wins 4 straight rings. Bron going 2 out of 4 with that crew was embrassing.

Nobody calls Magic the playoff king or better than MJ though. Also, Magic definitely took heat at the time when he choked in the 84 finals. “Tragic Johnson”. In the social media era he would’ve gotten really shytted on.
He took the heat in 84 and people moved on. Y'all still talking about 2011 and/or acting like he was going to win 2015 with Delavedova as his 2nd best player. And most of the vitriol towards Bron is not about him vs Jordan.

Not to mention that literally happens with every superstar.

Nobody mentions the Joneses in Russell's backcourt.
Nobody talks about Bob Dandridge and Greg Smith.
How often are we hearing the names Jamal Wilkes or Michael Cooper?
Nobody goes out of their way to name Horace Grant and Toni Kukoc.
Rick Fox, Glen Rice.
Dudes go out their way to make us believe Pau wasn't shyt.

Why do we need to bring up supporting casts now?
