harden does more than score tho? he's a great passer and he's been good defensively in the playoffs. last game he shot poorly from 3 and had 9 assist with 0 turnovers, 3 steals, and a block.

maybe it's the phrase "I'm no James Harden. That's not my knack, to just shoot the ball, score the ball." as if to imply that's all harden does that is throwing people off.

just say you can't score like Harden, and it wouldn't seem like a diss.

It was probably intended it to be a compliment. In the sense, that Harden is a superior scorer and he can't do those things so he makes up for it in other ways.

Now where he fukked up was bringing up his name because 1) Harden is going to claim he can do more than score and 2) the media will twist his words. However, this is par for the course, as we've established PG13% has poor decision making

Having said that, I much prefer to the narrative that we're running with in here .
