PS4 would of been out for eight years at that point. Thats too long I personally think 5 - 6 years is the sweet spot to deliver a new console. I've had my launch PS4 up until now and passed on the pro for a legit successor. Besides the cpu is trash in the PS4 and computers from a decade ago can run circles. PS5 should be the true 4K 60 or 30 console we are looking for.

Would be surprised if PS5 did not have backwards compatibility.
But anyway.. it's five years this November. But this gen doesn't really feel like it started until 2015. A 2020 launch is 7yrs.

Be a Sony stan so threatened by the fact that Xbox is stronger that you'll throw your current system in then bushes prematurely
Xbox already has the head start any console released in the next year or so will only be marginally better cause that's how technology works.
Maybe they can focus on making games that uses the ps4 to its full potential instead of games that feel rushed.
