Okah yeah mine doesnt stay powered on long enough for that to work. After the first beep from the power on it goes right back off.
They made it as small and cheap as possible. Problems were bound to arise

I get home. Decided to try it one more time before i filed the claim and it came on.
When i left today i put it in a space that allows more ventilation and stood it up.
@Liquid how long before it goes out again you think?
And if i send it now wont they just send it back because it powers on when they get it.

my fat og ps3 I had since 2009 still works flawlessly, I pray that my ps4 does the same
