Hi guys! I’ve got a quick update to share with you. Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. just announced that PS4 has cumulatively sold through more than 7.0 million units globally as of April 6th, 2014. PS4 software sales are another bright spot, with more than 20.5 million copies sold at retail and PlayStation Store worldwide as of April 13th, 2014.

On behalf of the entire global team at PlayStation, I want to thank you for your unprecedented support and for making PS4 your next-generation console of choice. We couldn’t have done this without you! And please keep the feedback coming: we are listening.

On that note, we’ll have some great new details to share with you regarding our upcoming PS4 system software update very soon. Stay tuned!

Don't bring up the PC nation they will come in here spouting about how there computer rigs are better and more people play on PC.

Considering Microsoft was so desperate to sell Titanfall last month, dropping the price 50 bucks, giving away games and xbox live, if they didn't win, it would be a fukking utter embarrassment

Nothing to play? You sure about that? You act like Ryse and Dead Rising 3 was actually enjoyable to me lol just like Titanfall and FPS is not enjoyable to EVERYONE

I fully expect MS to "win" North American NPD tomorrow. Question is...by how much? If the sales disparity isn't that great, the Titanfall exclusivity was a complete failure and just cemented the fact that the damage that was done last year by MS XBox execs is irreversible. Even though it's not probably not dropping until next holiday season (2015) they gotta drop Halo 5 sooner rather than later.
