Most people that leave the Sony orbit don't do much after of note after leaving. David Jaffe, Ready at Dawn, Ninja Theory, Quantic Dream, Supermassive Games, Phil Harrison. There is a pretty decent list of companies and individuals who left Sony's orbit and never really found that level of success again. Some never found any success at all.
