Others probed you to go more in depth and to provide receipts but that seemed too hefty of a request hence why the ad hominems started. Also you too, couldn't let some of the opinions of those who disagreed with you go and they too were subject to ad hominems.

Actually, I provided proof of my opinion not just solely being mine, which I did, because it seemed too hard for said sycophants to believe that my opinion was shared by anyone else....apparently demographics and statistics escaped them as well. The "receipts" in question was a request to provide my PSN, which is less proof and more of an ad hominem in an attempt to deflate or "invalidate" my opinion. Good thing I bought a PC, X1, and a PS4.

Also, nikkas aren't wrong in TLOU gameplay criticism. TLOU is a great experience, but I def found myself feeling like the gameplay was mediocre more than anything. The world crafted around it had me enamored(it's honestly a beautifully crafted game), and the story/presentation pulled me in, but I was NOT staying for the gameplay and that may just be the reason I haven't really gone back and beat the game a 2nd time. Don't feel like TLOU did anything that exceeded expectation in terms of stealth, combat or crafting, but it was good enough to enjoy within the experience. MP was entertaining for a while but I just don't dig MP on TPS shooters.

You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of the word.

If a poster says I drive a Ferrari and it's kind of trash brand of vehicle. And another poster says let's see some proof of your vehicle, that is NOT an ad hominem.

The fact you won't provide proof places you as a troll. If a scientist says they just cured cancer and when asked for proof he yells that's an ad hominem! that's you right now.


And all the words you write mean nothing because you can't validate those words. They're empty. Much like your sentences.

An ad hominem would be attacking you as a poster and saying look at your rep,your word carries no weight.

??? How am I complaining my g? I never said the game was difficult or any of that or that I found it to be easy or anything. I simply said what they did in terms of stealth, crafting, or combat wasn't anything I felt they exceeded the standard at. TLOU is a great game, but what I enjoyed more than anything else about it was the presentation and the experience they gave us. Gameplay didn't immediately jump out to me as the outstanding facet of that game. It wasn't bad gameplay but it wasn't anything that I saw as incredible like nikkas talk it up to be either.

"Oh well you didn't play it on hard in the middle of the night with everything but your tv and ps4 unplugged and a makeshift shiv by your side while breathing in spores, so you didn't get the full game" fukk outta here with that.

That's just your opinion. your "honesty" doesn't make it an absolutely valid critique. People tend to call out some dissenters of the gameplay because often it was by people with no actual hands on or known haters. You wasn't feeling it?
Others did and felt it was solid.

So instead of saying " on playing a fire game, you should try it on Grounded, that shyt is dope" you hopped in defense mode and got ya skirt dirty talking down on nikkas. My appreciation for the game comes from the story, the characters, and the writing. It was a great experience, despite the fact I don't see myself going back to it any time soon unless a sequel drops. Changing difficulty isn't going to change what I truly enjoyed about the game. So I'm going to pass on that. Sorry for not playing the game in a tent in my backyard with only a flashlight while my brother is on Clicker alert my nikka. Imma still speak on this game though. If that irks you put me on ignore.

I'm telling you playing on the highest difficulty changes the gameplay in response to saying the gameplay is mediocre and you go off about nonsense I didn't say to undermine my point.

You're somewhat right, in that you know what the definition of an ad hominem, however you conveniently left out the part wherein you ask for my PSN....to see if I beat the game; that would be an ad hominem. Now in my previous posts I said, "it contextual", I believe my exact quote is "I can never say micro surgery of the brain is "easy" just because there are people who do it without any error." So that point of your statement I handled a few posts back, obviously some things just can't be quantified via observation, nor can they be dismissed as "easy" simply because there are those who are successful at it.

I've provided proof of my opinion, which still hasn't changed; The gameplay is a tad clunky. This is not some opinion only I share, I could link you more pages and forums(As I did in my previous posts), but I doubt it will matter in your head. You're looking to defend something that doesn't merit any defense, the greatness of the game stands on its own, without your fanatical help. You simply don't like my opinion...and you are quite entitled to that. However, no game is perfect.

Lastly, you need to understand that beating a game does not provide validity to a statement, validity is in and of itself an opinion, its the reason many scientists argue with each other and why even peer reviewed studies still go through a process of "double checking" if you will. But I would ask you this...would it actually matter if I gave you my PSN and you saw that I beat it twice? Or would you cherry pick something else to try and attack my opinion with? Judging by your behavior, I can tell it would not change a thing.
