Playstation or X-Box? Which one should I buy?

was up everybody, I'm about to purchase my first video game console in a long time

The last computer I had was the nintendo 64 lol

So I'm not too familiar with this generations video game consoles so I'm not up to speed to all the latest technological advances.

As of right now I'm leaning towards the XBox One but that's only because I love the way it looks while on the other hand, I hate the way the Playstation 4 looks.

But ofcourse, I need to know which product has the better specs. I'm not looking for anything in particular though. Like I said, I dont know much about technology, so I'm sure I will like both systems as I dont have any high or unique standards that I'm looking for.

From my understanding, everybody seems to be favoring the PlayStation 4 at the moment, but you guys let me know what I should get.

I'll keep it 100.... Go out and get a Xbox 360 and then get a PS4. If want all the games of last gen plus the prices are coming down for the 360 games, get the 360. For the future aka the Next 3 months go with a PS4. The Xbox One is probably gonna have another price drop closer to Christmas or a nice Halo bundle coming up so wait on the Xbox One. Only get that Xbox One if you can't live without Halo.

An Xbox One is like Mambo sauce on some wings to go along with the sweet potato pie you got from the local soul food restaurant.
PS4 is like going to 7-11 and all they got is a dried up Jamaican patty, sorry.
The hotdogs just got put on the grill and will be a while

If you want a console that only has iphone games, can't multitask, and has a horrible design, then get the larrystation 4.


If you want the ultimate next gen experience get the XBox One.

Honestly

I got a PS4 on the way but I love everything about my XB1. The only thing I wish it could do was turn on my TV/Stereo system along with my XB1 whenever I say "Xbox on"



The PS4 is "slightly" more powerful, but it doesn't really mean shyt. Just like the PS3 was more powerful than the 360, but EVERYONE was on 360, especially for mulitplayer type games. I know about 3 people with PS4... and they all in separate circles and one of them has 2 XB1's (his & hers)

I bought a PS4 out of boredom (looking to spend some money) and because it's white. I love the voice commands with XB1 and most of their exclusives are and will be 1080p/60fps if you care about that




Watching those Halo MCC vids today had me like 1080p/60pfs in Halo 1-3.........

I live off my XB1, no lie. AT&T Uverse, games that I haven't even begun to play yet, Netflix/Hulu.......



I'm even going to cop a white one and ship it back home for the fam in October

The PS4 outclasses the XB1 in every way unless you're an avid Halo fan and/or you're interested in Kinect and voice operated features.

It doesn't outclass in controller, library, user interface, apps, and not even graphics (just because SOME multiplatform developers can't figure how to make shyt 1080p/60fps, yet exclusive developers and other MultiPlatform developers (i.e. 2k) can on XB1)


So, in what other ways does this "thing" outclass the XB1 again?
