OP in reality you can't go wrong with either system, just depends on your own preference/situation.
PS4 is a bit more powerful, but that doesn't translate to much on screen, especially with more recent games which have been pretty much equal on both platforms.
X1 does more with media features/multitasking ect, but its up to you decide whether those things are important to you
Both are the same price without the camera. The kinect version of X1 is worth it to me, but that's up to personal preference.
The overwhelming majority of games can be found on both systems. Google exclusive games for each platform and see which ones you like.
Don't listen to the fanboys, listen to yourself![]()

Overall, it looks like 4A Games has done good work here in balancing image quality presets with resolution in order to lock frame-rate on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Metro Redux. The result is a release that looks impressive on both consoles, with the PS4 occupying the higher ground owing to its native 1080p resolution.
Raw mathematics would suggest that the increase in image quality on PS4 is pronounced, but in actual fact, both versions resolve detail extremely well - as the zoomer shots below demonstrate. A couple of image quality factors do separate the two games - outdoor foliage quality (it's cleaner and crisper on PS4) but more importantly temporal instability. Outside of anti-aliasing artefact, in terms of actual boosts to detail on PS4, the comparison zoomers below demonstrate the difference - for the most part, there's not much in it, with only foliage and extreme close-ups on textures yielding much in the way of an advantage.
Outside of the more aggressive dynamic framebuffer on the Xbox One, there's little to separate it from the PS4 game. Shadow quality is slightly better on the PS4, but the artwork, effects and lighting are all basically identical. The PS4 holds up the closest in delivering a native 1080p experience at 60fps, so benefits from slightly more consistent image quality. As such, once again it's the PS4 release that is our preferred console choice. However, the differences between the two consoles are minor and Wolfenstein is really a worthwhile purchase no matter which one of these systems you own.

There's a resolution difference of course - 912p on Xbox One vs 1080p on PlayStation 4 - but owing to the muted colour palette, the 40 per cent resolution boost in favour of the Sony platform manifests as a slightly clearer image, where the difference only really comes to the fore on foliage in the brighter outdoor areas and when eyeballing high resolution textures up-close.

Better is better. You know damn well if it was the reverse you'd be touting this as a plus for why XB1 is better."PS4 is a bit more powerful, but that doesn't translate to much on screen"

You downplayed it though. So did I not list it in my little summary of the differences/advantages of each console?

You downplayed it though.
Any unbiased person would've simply mentioned it and left it at that.
That's like me going "Well the XB1 allows you to navigate it's OS with gestures and voice controls... but that doesn't really matter since you can use a controller just like how the PS4 does fine.
The PS4's OS is more streamlined and intuitive blah blah blah"
That's how it sounded.
anyway I don't care, Persona 5 is coming to PS4 nikka.

Didn't readSaying something is "more powerful" without context gives absolutely no usable information.
The PS4 is more powerful than an Atari too. What does that tell us?
The only reason the context bothers you is because reality doesn't prove as big of a difference as you'd like to claim.
And in my list i did add context to the advantages of the X1 as well.
You're just a pitiful fanboy and you like searching for my posts and creating stupid arguments.
Unhhand my balls and go drool over your upcoming "social simulator".![]()
