I respect your opinion but wholeheartedly my g you must've missed the part where the game was designed to be that way. :manny:

The only part most people hate is the anti religion (specifically Christian ) theme and backstory/story but the game is legit

As I said above being designed around an arbitrary control limitation is bad game design in my opinion.

Its a cheap way to add challenge/depth without actually adding any.

Just because something is done intentionally doesn't make it a good thing
It is if that intentional design choice works excellently instead of hindering the player. Judging by the reception of the game, you seem to be in the minority regarding the game's controls.

I could understand not having diagonal directions in games like Geometry Wars, but Binding of Isaac it's a non issue.

Plenty of people have complained about the lack of diagonal aiming. Even reviewers that enjoy the game mentioned it.

Its absolutely not a "non-issue" my entire time playing the game all I kept saying to myself is "why the fukk can't I aim diagonally:mad:"

shyts frustrating and a cheap "mechanic" used to add difficulty where there is none. Had they added diagonal aiming they would have had to come up with some better A.I. And level design. As it stands the challenge in the game revolves around fighting the control limitations purposely put in the game.
