It just got BT capability last year, and the lag on it is terrible. It would be even worse on a remote play device

Bluetooth is fine on the switch …. No lag got me

The thing needs proprietary headphones. That’s a cost to consider.

cant you just use an iPad and a controller (devices you already have likely) and get the same functionality than this thing? I dunno, this product seems useless since most people will already have devices capable of remote play (and have Bluetooth).

Yes, thats what i do now.

Its really just convenience and/or a more elegant solution. The previews also said there is proprietary tech that reduces latency so if that ends up being true its a bonus.

I’m still in the wait for a Black Friday sale category cause i don’t care about handheld that much but it would be nice to just have a pick up and play device for some of these smaller games.

Tested out Remote Play while out of state on my iPad for the first time. I’m in Atlantic City and my PS5 is back home in Brooklyn and it ran pretty smooth. All things considered I might get this.

I mean, you have a steamdeck already so you have no reason. This is half the price
