PlayStations Xbox Game Pass rival reportedly in the works

Sony Interactive Entertainment is working on “a counterpunch” to Microsoft’s popular Xbox Game Pass service, a former senior developer has claimed.

That’s according to God of War creator and Twisted Metal co-creator David Jaffe, who claims to have spoken to a number of sources within PlayStationabout the company’s plans to respond to the popularity of Microsoft’s subscription service.

Looks like gamepass won’t be the only game rental service in town

I say this is a win for me. I eventually cop both consoles and damned if I pay full price for single player games (since i play XBL for multiplayer) bigger question will be do they throw PS exclusives in there how MS does. That alone would make me cop a P5

both main consoles last gen and this one...wish I had bought a 360 in hindsight but fortunately I’ve been able play all the exclusives I wanted on the X1X and now the XSX...nintendo is the only “loser” in my case cuz I simply don’t have the time or as much interest in playing their exclusives anymore

still worth getting a 360 if they're some not in the ms store. too easy to mod. I may do this to play MVC2
