So 3 games that are exclusive to PS5.
When you start adding in other cross gen games then your point is mute because the series X crushes that whole area and that's where Gamepass comes into the picture. It allows access to those souped up titles that range from microsoft exclusives to 3rd party games that just get upgraded for free 90 percent of the time.
I bought my PS5 and xbox knowing that both were going to be a glorified backward compat machines for most of this year, outside of a few games here and there. But yall in here acting like there's so much to Play on PS5 exclusive wise when the truth is there isn't.
There's actually just 1 legit full fledged next gen game and that's demons souls. Which came out 6 months ago....
So within that six months time yall be playing last gen games or cross platform games just like xbox players have been, just in a worse environment.
Sony is ahead of microsoft with next gen exclusives that is all, and they aren't ahead by much, hopefully most people didn't buy there next gen system with knowledge of how the industry and world is now waiting on a bunch of next gen games..
Microsoft got so much money, they lose more by not playing with it.
beside that Xbox directly and indirectly makes them a bunch money.

They already lose money on GP. There's a reason they tried to sneak in that gold price increase.
MD bread and butter is not Xbox. They are expendable if need be.

When you start adding qualifiers you start sounding crazy. Xbox doesn’t do last gen better because they simply don’t have better last gen games.
It’s fully possible for someone that bought a PS5in November-Jan to still be playing sackboy, miles, Demon’s, destruction all stars etc. Even if you don’t personally fukk with those games plenty of people love them. I’m still planning on getting sackboy. You spread out 4-8 1st party games with 3rd party titles and you can easily still be playing launch titles
And yeah, most people are waiting to play Miles on PS5 because its a far better experience so that def counts for me.

Either way you wanna slice the pie sony is releasing 1st party games consistently, some are cross-gen and some are ps5 exclusive, its almost 50/50 at this point.
Gamepass isn’t a substitute for new software
No amount of qualifiers you put in place will change the idea that sony is still putting out new 1st party games and microsoft simply isn’t at the moment.

This is a good idea. I think there's no way the put games on day 1. But if you get a discount if your subscribed that would make sense.
With all these games, you'd think Sony stans would flood the board with thread after thread about how PS+ Collection is a steal by giving 25+ games of which many are classics released last gen.

It’s because we actually get new games with new features (dual sense, 3d audio, VR) so things like this are secondary to us and not a console seller.

XBL lead to Azure, which is their bread and butter.
Kinect and Hollowlens just recently led to a 22 billion dollar military contract.
Xbox itself makes huge money, only reason it’s not their “bread and butter” is cause they make so much damn money everywhere else. If they didn’t spend money on projects like Xbox their money would just sit and lose value due to inflation.
