Same skill-set from the first LP, but they came more rugged on this one and I think that turned their fan-base off. I enjoyed it, though......

Yea its gotta be this. I was disappointed by R.E.D album. But this shyt caught me all the way the fukk by surprise . Like I legit just enjoy this shyt front to back. Its crazy b/c I didnt even really fukk with some of the songs individually but as a whole, its nice

I haven't heard this in years. but I remember when it dropped I used to bumo it heavy. For no reason too, I had never listened to a Method-Man album prior or nothing. I honestly downloaded it because I watched an interview where he explained the meaning of the album's name. The Day After is the day you sober up and have that moment of clarity. I just thought that shyt was so ill, most nikkas name their albums such generic bullshyt that I just had to listen on the strength of the name having a real and relevant meaning.

LL's Authentic album, I was honestly expecting it to be a weedplate but its pretty dope [if you count the bonus cuts and replace them with the wack cuts on the album]

BREH.... I finally got around to checking out that album. I love the way Salaam Remi (I believe that was the producer) flipped all those classic NY records into that smooth R&B shyt. I'm actually going to support this kid and purchase the album. Only been listening on Youtube so far.
