Being able to handle insecurity or powerlessness is a big thing to.

When something makes you upset, or feel bad, do get angry and hit stuff? attack people? Make fun of other people?

Or do you process things maturely? A lot of people are stunted emotionally and tend to lash out when things are wrong instead of properly figuring out solutions to it or getting help. Sadly this happens to men the most.

i know the feeling of being so emotionally raw that you lose complete control of yourself and your thinking. it’s even worse when people decide not to take the situation serious or offer help. at least you did all you could, most would just call him crazy and not try to understand the deeper trauma

That advice is lost here. Dudes were laughing at that man crying in his car at work. Calling him weak, lazy... Most people will never empathize with mental struggles until they actually live it. We have a long way to go to shake the stigma of "crazy" people. Most times when you have a mental illness you don't get nearly as much consideration as having a physical ailment. No days off, hard to get treatment. People think you are selfish, weak and even annoying.

Mental health issues are still highly misunderstood and thus the response to people going through it is inconsiderate on average. Time for change. When you see someone isolating themselves they usually depressed.

Ive come to realize at 30 almost 31 that you really need to go theough shyt to become a better person. Theres no substitute.

No book or meditation, or advice, none of it truly helps. Its like the saying you cant change em til they are ready to change.

Its very hard to grasp or empathize how it feels with mental health unless 1) youve gone through it or 2) youve gone theough it recently.

I have to remind ppl all the time once they get out of a bad spot to not judge the other person harshly cuz they are up right now.

Emotions/mental are tough. You can go through something so life overtaking then a year later not even remember how it felt
