It was about two filmmakers making a documentary on firefighters in NYC. The firefighters were bored and were hoping for some action to happen. On the early morning on 9/11, the firefighters went to check out a gas leak. After they finished that, the first plane crashed.

All those firefighters wishing for some action were all like
