I don't fukking get it, brehs. I didn't watch when he was in the E and only caught part of his TNA run. I just can't see what WWE ever saw in THIS blandness:

For some reason, all I see is a Billy Gunn/Hardcore Holly hybrid, without any of their already limited talent. HE should've been The One to go by the Mr. Ass moniker.

I KNOW I've seen other posters big him up, talking about how they were excited for his E run. I'll never understand why RKO gets hated on for "burying" what is already dead in the ring. It's ridiculous, but I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone each time someone praises him. Maybe I'm basing my question off of the breh @mrken12 stanning for him. Today I just realized his username is based off MrKennedy. :mindblown:

So #TSC, please explain why Mr. Kenderson was ever liked by the IWC and if he was ever worth being a fan of. Did he have any classic matches? Promos? Feuds?

His TNA run was mostly terrible. He got extremely lazy and his schtick was beyond old at that point. His early WWE run was extremely entertaining and he was extremely good with heel promos. After his Wellness Violation he started to fall off big time. That violation ruined his opportunity to be part of a major storyline with Vince McMahon.

Back during his time in the WWE people like Kennedy, MVP, and Carlito were considered to be stars for the future. Unfortunately it didn't work out. :francis:

Pretty much this. They were building him very well actually. he started from the bottom as a pasty jobber years ago, started using that cool Green Bay Plunge(?) finisher on Velocity, worked his way up to the main roster and eventually won the US title

They even made him look credible heading into feuds with Taker

But that Wellness Violation along with him "botching" a backdrop against Orton basically ended everything. I think he may have gotten injury prone too

This question applies to guys like Mason Ryan, who nobody ever praises. There are posters on the IWC that fukked with Mr. Kennedy back in the day.

:ehh:

It just shows what a good salesman Cokeboy is. If he wasn't doing this he would probably be selling second hand cars, with cinderblocks where there should be an engine in a lot in Carolina, somewhere. And somehow be crazy rich from doing it too :dwillhuh:

I liked him (WWE run I'm talking). His entrance and promos were great. Only thing is I was never enthralled by his in ring work

I can explain why

I was a big kennedy fan for a while. Wrestling fans like tough guys...and Kennedy came across as tough guy/shyt talker/a$$hole. And he was a natural jerk and came across as natural with his heel work. He didnt seem like an act...he legit came across as a total jackass you wanted to see get beat. Thats hard to find.

The entrance made him seem special, and that translates to fans as well.

He had a good look, and was decently over. His return before he botched and embarassed the company was working.
