Thats because white people are late on Hip Hop.
Most whites that listen to shid like this today weren't doing so in the 90's. 
Black folks listen to what is new at the moment because they have already heard most of them songs from the 90's more than a 100 million times. For many black folks, listening to some old Hip Hop like it jus came out is just as bad as coming out of the house wearing the clothes from that era.
