please help! how do i fix a green screen?

do you have win 8.1? You can easily check by going to the tiles screen and looking for a down arrow. If you have that down arrow, then you have 8.1. IF you have 8.1 then get the 8.1 version

whenever i go to look at a video on youtube, the screen is green. i can hear the audio just fine but i can't seen anythin' but a green screen. how do i fix this problem?

Just on youtube?

1.) Update your video drivers
2.) Uninstall/Reinstall Flash.
3.) Delete Cookies/History.
4.)Try different web browsers.
5.) Put youtube in some rice.

OK. First make sure you download all of your windows updates. Even the optional ones.

Get that out of the way first.

i thought i already did because the pc walked me thru a shyt load of stuff when i turned it on for the very first time, i just got this pc like 5 days ago. but how do i go about doin' the windows updates?

You have deeper problems then. Do all windows updates like the poster above me said. Uninstall and reinstall Flash as well.
