i seriously don't get why the guy is hated so much

It almost seems that a lot of MFs just follow along with the media and whatever narrative/opinion they have of him

Whenever I have asked this, I never get a straight answer

People root for those they would like to see themselves as. Dwight is out here knocking up thots, annoying coaches, pissing off the respected players in the league and being corny with a lot of the jokes.

I don't mind him that much though. He's become a veteran. I've accepted that he'll never be dominant offensively and stays with the injuries, dumb fouls and poor FT shooting.

People like to gang up on folks that do things that they don't understand/agree with...especially if the person is considered soft. If Dwight does all the same shyt but has a mean mug and says the right tough guy shyt then there is nowhere near the hate.

Then there is the Kobe beef and leaving the Lakers high and dry. If he leaves Orlando like that and goes to LA and is buddies with Kobe then there is nowhere near the hate.

Dont know about anyone else, but personally I was ok with Dwight until he started trying to be funny and came off as the corniest most awkward motherfukker of all time. Those all star games where he did the intros were the first sign that dude was cringeworthy.
