Perhaps we need a separate thread for common mispronunciations but when people say "litrilly" instead of "lit-terally" it drives me nuts. Almost as bad as "bagle" instead of "bay-gul" for bagelThe misuse/overuse of the word "literally" is getting on my last nerve too
Coli nikkas turning down p*ssy over correct plural usage and conjunctions nowWe learned all of this in elementary school. Anyone who still makes these mistakes as an adult is just an idiot, honestly.
It's a huge turnoff for me when a woman whose first language is English makes spelling mistakes like these.

She'll still get her back blown out, don't get it twisted.Coli nikkas turning down p*ssy over correct plural usage and conjunctions now![]()

I had this chick that had a bachelor‘s in journalism and aspired to be a sports journalist get mad bc I used to correct her every time she made that mistake. Her grammar was trash for a bytch with a journalism degreeThe most common grammatical error in the world by far is "your" instead of "You're". I have seen even journalists and highly educated people bungle this before. shyt is baffling![]()

Like I said, it is based on context.
It's a cup of water on the table
There's a cup of water on the table
These two statements about the water both have their places. Would you want to use one over the other most of the time? Maybe, but there is cause of using one over the other.
There are exceptions to existence clauses. Context is king.
