Come on fam, the United Kingdom has 722 murders for the year with a country of 60 million people.
We have cities of 3 million approaching that, our murder rate is almost 4 times higher than theirs.

This is not trolling. I wish we had the same kind of outrage for black on black crimes. We are killing ourselves at an allarming rates. Our youth are out there getting killed. We need to shame all senseless violence. It has no place in schools or the hood were most our people are at.

None, but there are other countries out there with strict gun laws and you don't hear about them having a mass shooting every month. Something has to change though because whatever it is we're doing right now isn't working.
It will definitely have a positive impact on the murder rate, look at NYC for example, hand-guns are banned and the murder rate has been plummeting over time the more strict the law & penalties for having them has gotten.

The British don't have a violent gun culture because, get this, they don't have a lot of guns.

I have actually read the Federalist and Anti-Federalist papers ; those are the documents which explain the arguments for and against different parts of the constitution by the founders as they wrote it. It is their thought process... reading it will give you some insight into what they really meant.
