I came in here just to rant about that movie and you are on it. But you know Hollywood will never stop the white washing, it's all they are known for. Look at the Avatar movie for Christ's Sake! They made Cleopatra white as hell and have never apologized for it. They are in the business of selling myths to the white consumers and they give no fukk about authenticity. We need to learn our own history whatever it may be, before Hollywood presents bullshyt to the masses. shyt, I'm guessing there won't be a single Black Face in that movie. Do you understand how dangerous it could be if Black people started thinking Gods looked like them!?!?

All I'm saying is if people really cared about this it still wouldn't be going on... I understand why other people care but I really don't and yeah, it may be because I'm white, I don't know. I also don't understand why a danish actor can't play a fictional egyptian God. (I guess I'd probably care if the movie was trying to be historically accurate and a realistic depiction)

"A common thief joins a mythical god on a quest through Egypt" and people are complaining about historical accuracy in terms of skin color. They want Gerard Butler in their movie, not some egyptian dude.
