Unfortunately in my lifetime, I saw crack especially take out members of my family. I had a cousin like her, she was like real cool party girl. She used to drink a lot and dabble in cocaine but eventually, her friends got her hooked on crack and as a result she would be in and out of my uncle's house and she did lord knows what to support her habit but I would see her at times pretty bruised and beat up. She was found dead maybe 4 years later in Michigan (from Newark). To this day we all agreed to tell the younger relatives she died in a car accident because her parents are too ashamed at how she went out.
