anyone that paid attention to his posting habits shouldn't have to question why he was banned. dudes push the limits and eventually go over the line

As for the mods not having to explain, you're right, they don't. But in a thread like this - especially when most are in the dark as to why he was banned - it its probably better to say why as opposed to letting it hand on "he was bad".

All I was aware of were his rather misleading threads as I'm sure most others were too. I wasn't aware of much else beyond that. I'm not going to willingly follow mod opinion without answering some questions.

In fact I already brought it up previously in that there must be more to it. How much more should have been explained sooner. As many posters were wondering I'm sure.

Dboy was NOT banned for:

- his shyt "posting career" (which by sheer volume resulted in decent posts when he was informative and wasn't seeking attention, but regardless he brought this on himself)
- using certain slang (nikka, c00n) that some find objectionable for a West Indian guy to feel so free to use
- trolling anybody for attention.

Dboy WAS banned for:

- thread spamming
- necrobumping literally 45 threads with a Young Thug smiley
- avoiding bans with SIX aliases, four of which he already had stashed
- posting porn not even a week into a return that he shouldn't have received anyway

You didn't see most of the shyt because I took care of it.

If you think, after all of the logic I just laid before you, that his permanent ban is unfair....

That's not how we do things here. Yes, Mods often tell posters to fukk off. But you have to be careful that you not giving off a Neogaf type vibe. This place struggles with its identity. Is this a black site, a white site, neogaf or sohh.com pt.2? You see terms like "cac" thrown around, black excellence at the top of the page.. but the modding behavior mirrors that of the most cacity. Its quite confusing what is even accepted around here and I'm a fukkin regular Ultimately, the way this section is being ran is not really popular. Most people here are not enjoying themselves like they used to. People put too much faith in Dboy and his bullshyt thinking that would recreate what made this place great once before. But what do I know, I'm just a worst version of Dboy

Solely In terms of activity I'm easily in the top 10 contributors of the Arcadium. If you don't know why Dboy got banned then you might not post here enough to argue about it to begin with. All due respect to the people that rocked with the boy, but IMO the place is better without him. Towards the last few months that he was on and off here I didn't even respond to dude. He was even out here copy and pasting my comments and putting them in other threads passing them off as his. Between the porn gifs and thread spamming he was single handily dragging the quality of the forum to the ground. The guy rarely had any original threads either. He consistently copied info from official threads and made his own thread with random misspelled titles. For the most part the Arcadium has some great info and healthy conversation, except for the one week time spans that they let Dboy off of his leash.

How is a permaban even enforced? It's not like most users have Static IPs. With your ISP you can just make a new e-mail and re-register as a "different" person.

And porn is allowed in some sections of the forum (and probably isn't a bannable offense in some instances outside that forum). Trolling is encouraged and mostly unchecked so that's a non-starter. There is nothing there that constituted a permaban, namely when you casually browse this sub-forum as most here do. Case in point:

The difference is @MightyHealthy went in depth as to why he was banned, which should come in a thread like this with various posters calling for the removal. You other mods did not. You mod however you want, but he gave the answer most of us can look at and more or less agree. For that mod work I commended him.
