I don't know why but I think Simmons got bust potential.

For one he chose to go to a shytty team. Unless you're going to go and help rebuild that program or at least convince other players to go with you....You either got paid under the table or you're simply a smart/dumb nikka.

For two, dude seems passive. On a bumb squad he barely took over games.

And for three he just doesn't seem genuine. After their loss he said the coaches and players are like family to him and said he wanted to play in the NIT. The fact that LSU isn't combined with the fact that he wasn't eligible for the wooden awards leads me to believe they knew he was full of shyt. The only way he proves me wrong is by coming back.

regardless of it's historical significance, it's for losers.

LSU isn't a big enough name to be above playing in the NIT. They have had success but let's not make them out to be bigger than they are.
