i do get what you're saying, i lived in DC, just move back from there to the bay. every city being gentrified right now got the hood right around the corner, that said, nikkas out here are quite literally asking for $1M to live on a block where two houses up people are being shot on the corner or selling dope at the corner store. cities are all sorts of fukked up right now

The cheat code is to probably just stay in the SFV area and keep it lowkey, then come to Hollywood or wherever the studios/clubs are to conduct your business.
At this point, if labels and managers actually cared about their artists they would put a boycott on LA until law enforcement actually does their job and cleans up.
When the big money stops coming to LA, they're gonna feel dumb. At some point, people (rappers, especially) are going to wise up and just stop fukking with LA.
Atlanta is cleaning up and they have plenty of clubs and studios.
