You can. It's basically recreating the original games but using the new tech we have now. It was always their "vision" to make a game like this.

Now if it turns out the way we think it will is up for debate. But yea. You can battle and trade with anyone in the world. Also multiple people will be able to see the same pokemon so it's a race to see who catches it first.


A actual "collection" means something now since obviously there will only be pokemon in certain areas. Your gonna have to get online and find someone who lives nears a Forrest for them to catch a tangela and trade you for your lapras that only u can catch cause u live near the water. Lmfaooooooooo

Yeah I don't see why people are getting hyped , these things never come out the way we want them too and well just end up disappointed

Exactly. There are already rumors that the battle system won't be like in the acual games or Anime.

People are whispering it'll be an automated fight system. Where you have no control in the battle. It happens extremely quickly and there's not even battle animation
